Our May production of Lies, Spies and Somebody Dies was rescheduled to 5th and 6th September and was a compliation of short plays and monologues making for a relaxed and fun evening. Slightly different to our normal offering it was well received by our discerning audience

Looking back to September 2024 when we put on a Derek Benfield comedy, Beyond a Joke, we won the NODA Eastern Region award for best drama and have finally got our sticky fingers on the certificate to prove it!

We now look forward to our January 2026 pantomime, Pinocchio when tickets will be on sale from mid-October; sell outs are common for our pantomimes so book early!

We are the Old Buckenham Players

We are an amateur dramatic society founded in 1978 and aim to produce at least two or three shows a year including a January pantomime, and challenging plays in May and September.

Although we are an amateur group we aim to be professional and of a high standard in all that we do; please come along to a show – you will be assured of a warm welcome!
